Launching without a complete brand identity is like opening a store with no signage. You might get lucky, but you're making growth unnecessarily hard. This checklist covers every brand asset a business needs before launch.

Logo System: Primary logo (horizontal), stacked logo (for square formats), icon-only version (for favicon, app icon), reversed/white version (for dark backgrounds). All in SVG, PNG (transparent background), and JPG formats.

Color Palette: Primary color (hex, RGB, CMYK). Secondary colors. Neutral light and dark. Call-to-action color. Test all combinations for WCAG accessibility compliance.

Typography: Headline font (with weights). Body font. Optional accent font for special uses. Web font implementation (Google Fonts or licensed). System font fallbacks.

Brand Messaging: Brand tagline. One-sentence value proposition. Elevator pitch (30 seconds). Company mission statement. Core values (3-5). Target customer description.

Digital Essentials: Domain name (primary + .com variations). Website (even a coming-soon page). Google Business Profile. LinkedIn company page. Email addresses with custom domain (not Gmail).

Content Foundation: Brand story (who you are, why you started). 3-5 FAQ answers. About page copy. Service or product descriptions. Initial blog or content pieces.
